Ctrl-d slow paging

Ctrl-u (scroll up, whether in some editor or just some pager like less) works fast, but Ctrl-d (scroll down) is much slower. Any way to resolve that?
This is not an issue in other terminals I use (iTerm, Ghostty, Terminal.app).

I cannot replicate this neither local nor remote. Can you send a file or a video as an example? I have the same experience with both up or down, and also with Ctrl-d or Ctrl-v, which are equivalent in this case.
