Describe the bug

When I paste a key, the app closes itself, when try to import from file, dialog closes and doesn't let me do it, I'm in a subscription, so far using it on iPhone but this makes it unusable on my iPad Key pasting must work, as well as key import from file

Attempting to generate a key also makes the app close itself

I'd appreciate having some compatibility backport/bugfix just to be able to work even without the latest features. My iPhone is in latest iOS 26 so no problems there

I always give the highest priority to bugs like this that can block users, usually even fixing them on the same day. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to do a back port fix in the AppStore or push a fix for a previous version. Even Apple rarely does it themselves. I'm afraid I cannot help this time.

PS: Another idea, if you have the possibility to build the app yourself and install it on your device, that would actually work. I could help with that.

I can build it myself no problem, I'm a dev, just haven't done any iOS work

Do I need anything for this?, a tag/reference sha or something to install it? wouldn't building from master be incompatible with that iOS version?

Let's try it here: ec73344. This is still 18.0.0, but right before enforced the 17. We may be able to go beyond that, changes that are very iOS17 specific may be later on, but you can start there and move to the other build releases (just search for v18 in the commit messages).
