  • A View menu for the node editor, Split Regions by name, and pulldowns that look like pulldowns THE NODE EDITOR'S VIEW MENU had no page. It is a different menu from the modeling window's View, five commands rather than fourteen, and `menus.md` has described it for weeks without linking anywhere. `menu-node-view.md` lists all five in the order index.html gives them: Zoom to Fit, Center, a separator, then Tidy, Bus Long Wires and Dissolve Bus Relays. The three layout commands moved out of the command palette and into that menu in the last merge, and their icons came with them. Zoom to Fit and Center sit on both windows and do different things on each, so each one gets a page covering the pair. In the modeling window Center needs a selection and centers on it; in the node editor it ignores the selection and centers on every node. That was the only thing worth a page of its own. `organizing.md` now says where to reach both bus commands. It named them and never said how to run them, because when it was written there was nowhere to point. SPLIT REGIONS. The command page was titled Split (Bake), a qualifier that existed only to tell it from Split (Manual), which is gone from the app. The app does not agree with itself here: the native menu says Split (Bake), the toolbar button says Split, and the node's own title says Split. The wiki follows one rule instead, hers: split curves is always Split Curves and split regions is always Split Regions. That matches the pair the wiki already had, and it closes the last documented exception in WIKI_MENU_ORDER.md. TEN SOCKET CARDS drew a pulldown as something else. Six showed a bare wire-only socket, which tells a reader to wire a number in: Measured To, Compare's Operator, Style's Placement, Cap and Join, and Select Alternating's Divide by. Three more drew a raw 0: Sort's By, Offset's Corner and Array Directed's Deskew. All of them are menus in the app, declared as a plain number with the words kept elsewhere, which is why the card pipeline never knew. Each list now opens under its own row, the way the app's own menu reads. Style carries three of them, which is why they open in place rather than in the single slot under the body. The eleven Explode kind cards gain the Kind socket the node has had since the last merge, reading Auto. One word in a diagram caption: an English picture said neighbour. PREV AND NEXT NAV on 13 pages pointed at the wrong neighbours. The script that keeps them in step with the sidebar has not run since at least 2026-09-21 because a line of JavaScript was sitting in a Python file. It runs again, and it now rewrites the foot nav as well as the one in the breadcrumb, which is how a corrected page could still send a reader the wrong way from the bottom. welcome and credits are the ends of the chain and had no foot nav at all; they have one now.

  • Bottom nav on every page, Apollonius, and the Combine menu completed Navigation - Every page's own Previous/Next line is now repeated at the bottom, directly above the Related heading. Done by tools/add_bottom_nav.py, which finds that heading BY NAME rather than by position, so the nav never lands in the middle of a real section. circles-arcs - New Apollonius section with its own figure, apollonius-cases.png, built by a new generator build_apollonius.mjs. Three worked cases: two lines and a circle, three circles, two points and a line. One solution solid, the rest light and dotted. Placed immediately before the Arc tool heading. - circle-methods.png reverted: Apollonius gets a separate diagram, not a fourth panel on the existing one. selection - Select Outer Edges removed. It is a node-side command and does not belong on the modeling-view page. Added a Related link to the node page instead. transform-tools - Rewritten so the page only ever speaks of transforming POINTS. Locus does not transform objects, it transforms the free root points an object is built from, and everything standing on them re-solves and follows. - New callout before the Transform menu heading: if root points are shared with objects you do not want to move, run Edit > Detach first. - Reference and handle clicks snap in all the same ways a point does. align-distribute - The same Detach callout added at the bottom, below the refusal paragraph. regions-booleans - Paint Region added to the list of ways to build a region. menu-combine - The Combine menu has eight commands and this page listed six. Paint Region and Split (Bake) added, in menu order. - Two new pages: combine-paint.md and combine-split.md. Split's page says plainly that it is a one-shot bake, not a live boolean. - The Previous/Next chain shifted, so combine-fill, combine-autoregion, combine-difference and menu-transform changed their nav lines, and _Sidebar gained both entries. - Both icons rendered by the normal exporter from Vera's glyphs, tinted region like the rest of the row.

  • Release-day licenses: EULA sections, and the wiki line that overstated them license-agreement.md gains the release-day licenses: new sections 12.5 and 12.6, definitions 1.5 to 1.7, a machine-identifier retention line at 10.3, and an updated 12.4 survival list. Written by Lex. Until now the Beta EULA ended at the beta term and did not support what the wiki was promising. licensing.md, one paragraph corrected. It read as though BOTH release-day licenses were automatic. Only the beta-tester one can be: there are no machine IDs on file for anyone else, so the general 90-day license has to be requested the same way beta licenses are today. The automatic one now comes first so that "nothing to send" cannot be read onto the other. English only. The six translated license-agreement.md copies in this repo and in locus-studio/help-i18n are now stale: they still end at the beta term and need the new sections translated and re-vendored.

  • Wiki editing pass, plus two corrections found against the app LICENSING, a policy change rather than a rewording. licensing.md and community.md now say a beta license is free today, and that on release day everyone gets a free 90-day license while every beta tester is issued a free one-year license automatically. The old TIP box is folded into the new paragraph. community.md no longer says the one-year license is something to claim. CORE CONCEPTS gains a section, "Shape tells you how a point was made", between the colour rule and associativity. Colour says what a thing is; shape says how it was created and whether you can drag it. New figure, point-glyphs.png, from the new build_point_glyphs.mjs. CANVAS gains a figure for Alignment Snaps, align-snaps.png, from the new build_alignsnaps.mjs. Three panels snapping to a square turned 45 degrees: no two of its corners share an x or a y, so a red snap line can never be mistaken for an edge, and any two corners give one horizontal and one vertical. Colours, dash and alphas are read off ConstructionView.drawAlignSnaps. The Alt line moved into the two-ways list. "Rest the cursor" became "Hover over", matching the release sentence in the same bullet. Two precedence paragraphs were cut. The hidden-points paragraph now says a hidden point becomes faintly visible while a snap line runs to it: THIS IS NOT YET TRUE OF THE APP, and is filed for Theo in TODO/AGENT_INBOX.md. INTERFACE TOUR, two factual corrections against the app. The ninth menu is NODES, not Window: index.html's model-window strip reads File Edit View Draw Construct Combine Transform Select Nodes Help, and icons/menu/ has nodes.svg and no window.svg, which is why that slot used to render as an empty box. All three menu bar figures are re-rendered. The icon bar also no longer draws a dropdown caret beside each icon: iconMenu.ts swaps each button's contents for the glyph, so the caret does not survive into it. The page also now states the seven-per-column wrap and that the icons carry no labels. WELCOME gains "... and much much more" to the capability sentence. FIRST PATTERN, the Rotate direction note is rewritten around the sun: angles follow the sun across the sky in the hemisphere where this software was written, so positive turns clockwise. English only. The six translations are tracked separately.

  • Keyboard characters only: sweep all 245 English pages Every character that cannot be typed on a US keyboard is replaced. Em dash becomes a colon where it introduces a list bullet's description, matching how the Italian pages already read, and a spaced hyphen everywhere else. The Previous/Next angle quotes and the breadcrumb arrows become < and >, the menu path triangle becomes >, arrows spell out as -> and <->, the ellipsis becomes three periods, and the en dash and minus sign become a hyphen. Two characters do two jobs and are split by context. The middle dot is a pipe where it separates links and " x " where it is multiplication, as in Min + k x Step and Radius x cos(Angle). The degree sign becomes " degrees" after a digit and is dropped after a letter, where it was a stale reference to the Rotate node's Angle socket, which no longer carries one. Also: superscript two becomes 2, the square root sign becomes sqrt, the division sign becomes /, less-than-or-equal becomes <=, and the decorative emoji in Home, the footer, the sidebar, community and licensing are removed. Kept: the command, shift and option key glyphs in the shortcut lines, and the Greek letters used as math notation. Verified: no file changed its line count, and no markdown table row changed its cell count.

  • Stop hardcoding the version on the licensing and community pages "Locus Studio 0.2.0 (Beta 1)" was written out on three pages that would all go stale together on the next release. The rewritten install page no longer names a version, so these two now point at the current build instead of a number, and Releases is the single source of truth. Both pages keep their existing links and their beta messaging. license-agreement.md still carries "Version: Beta 1.0", which is the license document's own version and does not track builds.
