  • Name the colour a reader sees, and fix the 17 diagrams that drew the wrong one Every alt text that said "accent" now says what is actually on screen: curve green, region orange, point blue or number purple for a produced type, plain blue where the colour only marks which item is new, selection red where the subject is what is selected, and group blue for a group box. Fifty in all, and no alt text in the English wiki contains the word "accent" any more. Reviewing the pictures against the words found seventeen drawing the wrong colour. The pale-blue-interior-under-a-recoloured-outline fault, found in the booleans, repeated in Cleanup, Filter by Area, Select by Condition and List Length. The six Explode scenes hand back points and were drawing them in the old highlight blue. The two selection scenes were still blue after the switch to red. Area's measured hexagon is a region. Select Outer Edges now fills its four cells and draws their shared edges as the regions they are. Separate by Type carries all three type colours at once rather than one. Vector Math Cross is the number colour, because Cross hands back a number. Explode Polygon is a pentagon now. A four-sided box read as the Rectangle and Square nodes. List Length numbers its boxes 1 to 5, positions rather than indices, so the run ends on the same 5 the read-out states. The group box says box rather than folder, in English and in all six locales. Two labels that sat on the lines they labelled, the Radius read-out and the Through point, are offset perpendicular to those lines. The two Tidy layout images are regenerated from the documents they were always built from. They were thought to have no generator; the generator takes its output filename as an argument, so searching for the filename found nothing. Page corrections from reviewing the node pages against the app: Math, Move, Crossing Census and Stability Sweep were missing the editable marker their app sockets carry, Move and Preview were missing their defaults, Preview had no Outputs section where the absence of one is the point, and Weave called Flip a boolean where every other page says on/off.

  • Thirteen new diagrams, Split Regions, and a selection that is not region orange Vector Math gets a diagram per operation, drawn on the standard figures and all six sharing one pair of vectors. Stroke placement, cap, join and the miter limit get one each, drawn by handing the real SVG property to the renderer. Split Curves gets a circle cut by three lines, which shows both that crossings open into ends and that arcs stay arcs. Select Parents and Select Children get a pane per press, on the same construction Select Roots uses. Select Roots is rebuilt: the image on the wiki could not be produced by any code in the tree, and its scene had been simplified to something its own alt text contradicted. The selection highlight is now red rather than gold, so it cannot be read as the region orange of the type colours. Split (Manual) is retired. It documented a trigger-driven node the app no longer has, and the Split page told readers to reach for it. The node page is now Split Regions rather than borrowing the command's Bake. Split Curves gains a command page ahead of the command landing. Math's modulo symbol, Move's precedence and bare-point rule, Preview's file migration and selected-beats-the-eye, and the screen calibration Reset and drop-the-override rule were all missing and are now documented. Video became Screencast, to match the app.

  • The weave nodes, Undo and Redo, Revert to Saved, and prose for 17 commands Pages for Weave, Crossing Census and Stability Sweep, which nothing documented: the Calculate button and why evaluate cannot solve, that the result is not saved in the document, that Tol comes from the sweep plateau, and that the census counts four-end crossings only where Weave also reads an eight-end tangency. Undo and Redo get a page, one for both commands: two histories, one per window, a hundred steps each, acting on the window you are in. Revert to Saved gets one too, including that it clears both undo histories, so a revert cannot be undone. The command prose pass is finished, 35 of 35. Ten Draw pages, five Edit, two Transform, each written against the source rather than the old one-liner. They turned up behaviour nothing had written down: a shape owns only the corner points the tool itself made, a guide crossing gives a free point and not a bound one, Directed Rectangle's third click is a distance that leaves a width handle, and Clean Up asks for a merge tolerance and skips merges that would destroy a derived point. selection.md gains a Select Same section covering all six commands, which had only ever had a row each. Every one of the ten pages the menu-order rule governs now carries the app's own rows in the app's own order, and Schematic finally has its icon.

  • Docs: Explode rewrite, clipboard commands, two new nodes, Data flyout nav Command pages - New: Copy, Paste, Paste in Place, Duplicate in Place, Copy Style - New: Line: Tangent to Two Circles - Corrected: Duplicate now says independent copies rather than shared points; Tangent explains that every answer is ghosted and the nearest one is kept; Detach no longer contradicts itself - Prose pass items 11 to 18: Move, Arc, Group, Snap to Guides, Snap to Intersections, Point on Object, Detach, Elliptical Arc - Select Parents and Select Children added to selection.md, with rows on menu-select.md Node pages - New: Select Alternating, Weld Seams - Explode rewritten: a section and its own card for every kind it takes apart, plus a note on the six retired per-type nodes - Compare and Select by Condition documented, with cards and diagrams - nodes-data.md rebuilt as five flyout sections matching the interface, each with its icon and a line on why those nodes group together Two corrections against the shipped code - Select by Condition: an item is a top-level member, not a single shape, so a member holding several shapes goes to one side whole (#628). The page had described the behavior it replaced. - Export as DXF: a color with an alpha channel keeps its color and loses only the transparency, which DXF cannot carry. The page had claimed the transparency survives. The palette-merge paragraph gained the two limits the exporter applies: only layers Locus named itself are merged, and the annotation layers never fold in with the drawing colors. Both checked against src-tauri/src/export.rs. Navigation - _Sidebar.md Data block regrouped into the five flyouts - Six retired Explode entries dropped, four pages moved to Construct - All 26 previous and next chains rebuilt from the sidebar as the single source of truth Assets - 17 icons, 7 effect diagrams, 15 node cards

  • Docs: American spellings, Explode retirement, new nodes, prose pass American spellings throughout. 346 replacements across the public text: centre, colour, grey where it was not the noun, millimetre, behaviour, organise and the rest. Gray keeps its E, which is how Blossom spells it. No UI label in the app was ever British, so the wiki and the app agree. Explode is now one node. node-explode.md is new and answers for every shape, taking a group apart a layer at a time. The six per-type pages stay reachable and each carries a retirement notice pointing at it; documents built with them still open and still work. Two new node pages, Compare and Select by Condition, both with an icon pending note for Vera. Export grouping documented in preferences, export-svg and export-dxf: Group by Layers and Group by Outline Color, alongside hairline black. Math gains Absolute Value. Tangent rewritten to the new behaviour: options shown, nearest one chosen, click again for the other. Select Parents and Select Children written into selection.md from Theo's spec, with two rows in menu-select.md and dead icon references. Not shipped yet. Both ADD to the selection rather than replacing it. Node prose pass. Every node page now carries at least a short explanation, on the principle that a reader landed there because the interface did not explain itself. Command pages are getting the same treatment, 14 of 34 so far. First-pattern figures rebuilt. The Slider and Math wires crossed on the way into Rotate, which made the Home page banner read as though Angle and Repeat were swapped. They were not; the layout was wrong. Also dropped a degree sign from the Angle socket label, which the app does not have.

  • Bottom nav on every page, Apollonius, and the Combine menu completed Navigation - Every page's own Previous/Next line is now repeated at the bottom, directly above the Related heading. Done by tools/add_bottom_nav.py, which finds that heading BY NAME rather than by position, so the nav never lands in the middle of a real section. circles-arcs - New Apollonius section with its own figure, apollonius-cases.png, built by a new generator build_apollonius.mjs. Three worked cases: two lines and a circle, three circles, two points and a line. One solution solid, the rest light and dotted. Placed immediately before the Arc tool heading. - circle-methods.png reverted: Apollonius gets a separate diagram, not a fourth panel on the existing one. selection - Select Outer Edges removed. It is a node-side command and does not belong on the modeling-view page. Added a Related link to the node page instead. transform-tools - Rewritten so the page only ever speaks of transforming POINTS. Locus does not transform objects, it transforms the free root points an object is built from, and everything standing on them re-solves and follows. - New callout before the Transform menu heading: if root points are shared with objects you do not want to move, run Edit > Detach first. - Reference and handle clicks snap in all the same ways a point does. align-distribute - The same Detach callout added at the bottom, below the refusal paragraph. regions-booleans - Paint Region added to the list of ways to build a region. menu-combine - The Combine menu has eight commands and this page listed six. Paint Region and Split (Bake) added, in menu order. - Two new pages: combine-paint.md and combine-split.md. Split's page says plainly that it is a one-shot bake, not a live boolean. - The Previous/Next chain shifted, so combine-fill, combine-autoregion, combine-difference and menu-transform changed their nav lines, and _Sidebar gained both entries. - Both icons rendered by the normal exporter from Vera's glyphs, tinted region like the rest of the row.

  • Three new node pages, a tool page, Align & distribute, and the docs the code left behind New pages. Switch, Oblique Grid and Circle: Tangent shipped without wiki pages, which hid their Help menu items. Circle: Tangent also gets the construction-tool page it was the only Construct tool missing. Align & distribute is documented for the first time: ten palette commands, six align and four that space things out. Corrected against source, not against the commit messages. Grid gained Lattice V1, Lattice V2 and Spacing Override; Tri Grid gained Lattice V1 and Spacing Override. Grid reads V2 for its LENGTH only, never its direction, so its cell stays a rectangle; only Oblique Grid shears. Math gained Round, Floor, Ceiling, Min, Max, Square Root, Sine and Cosine, and the trig pair takes degrees. Colour lists. Collect now passes non-geometry values through as a plain list, Item at Index indexes those lists and accepts a LIST of indices, Random accepts a list of seeds, and Style's Fill and Stroke accept a colour list that cycles across the items. Four pages updated. Convert to Nodes said dimensions were left in place. They convert now, each into its matching Dimension node, with the two forms that need a point built for them. Preferences still put the video overlay at the bottom of the window; it moved to the lower-left corner. Diagrams: six node cards re-rendered for the socket and operation changes. Sidebar entries added and the neighbouring pages' Previous/Next lines fixed.

  • Keyboard characters only: sweep all 245 English pages Every character that cannot be typed on a US keyboard is replaced. Em dash becomes a colon where it introduces a list bullet's description, matching how the Italian pages already read, and a spaced hyphen everywhere else. The Previous/Next angle quotes and the breadcrumb arrows become < and >, the menu path triangle becomes >, arrows spell out as -> and <->, the ellipsis becomes three periods, and the en dash and minus sign become a hyphen. Two characters do two jobs and are split by context. The middle dot is a pipe where it separates links and " x " where it is multiplication, as in Min + k x Step and Radius x cos(Angle). The degree sign becomes " degrees" after a digit and is dropped after a letter, where it was a stale reference to the Rotate node's Angle socket, which no longer carries one. Also: superscript two becomes 2, the square root sign becomes sqrt, the division sign becomes /, less-than-or-equal becomes <=, and the decorative emoji in Home, the footer, the sidebar, community and licensing are removed. Kept: the command, shift and option key glyphs in the shortcut lines, and the Greek letters used as math notation. Verified: no file changed its line count, and no markdown table row changed its cell count.

  • Document node-search coordinate shorthand and the millimeter rule on number inputs Node-search coordinate shorthand (#292): - New "Coordinate shorthand: x, y" section in adding-nodes.md covering the three behaviours: each half is an evaluated expression, a leading + or - with exactly one selected Point node reads as a relative offset, and the values are the node graph's native millimeters with no display-unit conversion. Adds the note that node search opens on "+". - coordinate-entry.md gains a NOTE pointing at the node twin, so the model-view and node-view coordinate docs cross-reference each other and the one deliberate difference between them is stated on both pages. Millimeter rule on number inputs: - Marked the five node inputs that are actually lengths and were missing it: array-directed Weld Tol, cleanup Tolerance / Spike / Blunt, dedupe Tolerance. - Added the global statement where it was missing entirely: an IMPORTANT callout on sliders.md, and on the two number sources, node-slider and node-number. - node-math gains a note on reading a length back out in another unit via the mmtoin / sqmmtosqin conversion constants. Counts, seeds, indices, degrees and opacity are left unmarked on purpose, for the reason preferences.md already gives: a node's numbers are not all lengths, so there is no single unit to relabel them with. The UI covers the general case with the node-pane warning stripe.

  • Node pages: describe every input and output socket; fix circle menu order Every node page now carries a short description on each Inputs/Outputs socket (was ~237 bare across 59 pages), so a reader knows what each port takes or produces. Also: document the working-unit warning in Preferences (the node graph is always millimeters; a stripe appears on the node pane when the working unit is not mm). Expand Random Per-Point (index-keyed value field, field-aware inputs only, deterministic). Fuller socket prose on Polygon (list in via Collect), Divide (list out via Item at Index), Perpendicular Bisector and Tangent (segment-or-points; the Side toggle). Reorder the circle nodes to Center Point before Center Radius in the sidebar, the Primitives list, and prev/next nav, matching the app menu.
