ArtCraft 0.42.0, publik build 2.

This is publik's build of storytold/artcraft by echelon, Apache-2.0 / MIT.

New in publik build 2:

  • One provider. Every AI request goes through the publik API, or through your own key from the same setup card. There is no sign-in screen, no ArtCraft account, and no credits counter.
  • Images: GPT Image 1 and Nano Banana (publik-image), text to image and an edit from a reference image.
  • Audio: speech from text and a transcript from audio.
  • Prompt help: "Improve prompt" under the prompt box, sent only on a click.
  • Features the publik API cannot serve (video, 3D, VFX, ArtCraft-only models) are hidden.
  • Results stay on this computer. The feed and the library read from disk.
  • A failed request shows one plain sentence with the reason and what to do.

What publik changes in the package:

  • macOS: signed with publik's Developer ID, notarized, stapled. Bundle id com.publik.artcraft.
  • Windows: not in this release. It follows when publik's Windows signing is live.

ArtCraft 0.42.0, publik build 1.

This is publik's build of storytold/artcraft by echelon, Apache-2.0 / MIT.

What publik adds:

  • "publik API" as a provider for GPT Image 1: text to image, and an edit from one reference image. No ArtCraft account is needed; the sign-in screen has "Continue with publik API". Without an ArtCraft account, results stay in this session's feed and on disk.
  • The first launch shows one setup card: the publik API, or your own key. "Later" closes it for good. Settings > Accounts holds the same choice, the status line and the charge line.
  • "Improve prompt" under the prompt box, sent only on a click, with "Use this prompt" or "Keep mine".

What publik changes in the package:

  • macOS: signed with publik's Developer ID, notarized, stapled. Bundle id com.publik.artcraft, so the publik build keeps its own cache folder and starts signed out.
  • Windows: not in this release. It follows when publik's Windows signing is live.
