This creates a "Pocket Guide" size to be able to produce meeting lists like this https://westernmassna.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NA_Meeting-List-Fall-2025.pdf for smaller areas @tempsaint

Cool. I will clean up the lint problems. Do you think this could also be an appropriate size (I mean, the size when folded) for a booklet? Right now, the only booklet size is really A6, which isn't used much in the US, right? There's also "5-inch", which I think is just something someone made up for bread. Is "pocket size something that would be known by US printers?

Also, I'd like to add the size to the wizard...

Oh ya the wizard! I tried it for booklet and it didn't come out right but if it looked fine it may be. Thank you!

BTW - this was what I was thinking and commented on in slack. A 2-up version so it can easily be printed at home.

@pjaudiomv , @tempsaint : I'd rather do one or the other, but not both. Adam's seems more useful. Would that be OK with you, Patrick?

Fine with me, I was submitting pr for Adam :)

I'm double checking with the folks that send the file to a commercial print house for bulk printing. It's possible they would still prefer the 1-up version even though it's harder for someone to print at home.

The Area would be happy with the 2-up version

OK.... It's actually then more of a page fold (like flyer) than a page size...For instance, you could also cut and fold an A4 page like this.

Not sure I understand. The goal would be to generate the same thing twice on each side of a page so that the result is two pocket sized meeting lists (after the paper is cut lengthwise).

I mean, the main thing about this new format is how you cut the page and then fold each half together, 4 ways. The size of the page you are printing on isn't really relevant. When you print it at home, the page size is "letter", but maybe I print it at home, with page size A4. But we can both cut the page in 2, and fold each half twice. In the Admin UI, this impacts the boxes at the top of the page layout tab in "customizer". Is pocket a fold like "flyer" or a page-size like "letter". Up to now, it's been a page-size. But with 2-up, it's a fold...

Okay. I understand now. Yes, once the page is cut, it's then folded in half and then in half again to achieve a final product of 2.25 inches by 4.25 inches (for letter size paper).

Installed and it looks great at first glance. I'm now trying to format it to match what they currently have. More conversation in Slack thread.
