Every source has one output socket (kind below). Properties are usually constants (device names, formats), not bindable inputs.

Custom

Custom Script — source.custom_script

Output	Controlled by output_kind
script_path	path to executable / script
output_kind	enum: text, number, percent, etc; must match what the script prints and what downstream accepts
poll	interval / execi vs daemon (as exposed in the property panel for your version)

Behaviour: Script stdout is parsed as the source value. Daemon mode uses background polling + cache; execi uses Conky-native intervals. Empty or failed scripts yield empty/zero depending on kind.
