Title
DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined (PPSA17942)
Content version tested
01.001.000
AnyPS5 commit
main 51acb79 (merge of #5828). Includes #5494, #4491, #3435, #3238 and #6033; does not include #6236. Two uncommitted local edits (DirectMemory.cpp, State.cpp, an MSAA experiment for another title); their effect on this game is unknown.
System tested
Windows 11 (build 28000.3086), RTX 5070 Ti (NVIDIA 617.14), MinGW-w64 GCC 15.2.0 (WinLibs), CMake 4.4.4
Furthest point
Reaches the main menu and the in-game area (see "What is shown").
What is shown
After the PlayGo change described under "Current blocker", the menu and the in-game area show correct text and icons. Menu: about 23 to 28 FPS. In-game area: about 10 to 15 FPS in an earlier run. Audio plays, with occasional drop-outs. Minor visual glitches, not analysed.

The opening logo/cutscene is fully black while its audio plays; a click skips it and the menu is correct.
Current blocker
<chunk>entries) the game starts, but all UI text shows raw keys and several icons are grey; Procmon showed pakchunk1 (.pak/.ucas/.utoc) opened but never read. After adding<chunk id="1"/>to playgo-chunkdefs.xml (inside the<psproject>element), text and icons are correct. My tree predates fix(libScePlayGo): let users answer unlisted chunks #6236, so I have not tested APS5_PLAYGO_UNLISTED_CHUNKS (installed/absent) and do not know whether either is enough for this title. How it was run
Relinked eboot with:
relinker.exe --windows --windows-fixed-base 0x400000000 --sce-module-path <dir> eboot.bin app_main.exe. Run./app_main.exefrom a folder where app0 points to the game's doll and sce_sys folders. Extra file:app0/playgo-chunkdefs.xmlwith this content:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><psproject fmt="playgo-chunk" version="1000"><chunk id="1"/></psproject>No environment variables are needed for normal runs (only for tracing). The game language is read from /savedata0/LanguageSaveData998.dat (e.g. "fr" plus zero bytes) and a change in the in-game menu applies after a restart.
