What is shown

The startup notice, the title screen ("PRESS [Options] BUTTON"), the in-game menu (Options opens it), the intro cinematic and stage 1 with the ship, enemies and HUD (score, shot level, shield, stage), at 59.94 FPS throughout. Audio and progress past the start of stage 1 were not checked. The stop on the pad export n3kSX62fgNo reported on older builds is gone.

Current blocker

An intermittent abort about 2 s after start: sceKernelWaitSema: invalid argument (1 of 14 clean starts; never under GDB).

Cause, from the executable: the init function at 0x44xx starts a worker thread (entry 0x48d0) before it calls sceKernelCreateSema(&sem /* 0x1fc0a8 */, ..., attr 1, init 0, max 1) at 0x4506. The worker loop at 0x4a06 calls sceKernelWaitSema(sem, 1, NULL) and, on a non-zero result, prints an error and loops back. When the worker runs first, it passes a null handle and expects an error it can retry, but sceKernelWaitSema throws on a null handle.

The fix (PR linked below) returns SCE_KERNEL_ERROR_ESRCH for a null handle, as shadPS4 does for an unallocated handle. With it, a 180 s run and 8 starts showed no stop.

The semaphore fix referred to above is #9005 (fix(libkernel): return ESRCH for a null semaphore handle). It is the only change Earthion needed in these runs.
