Position photo description below image

When viewing photos then de description/caption extends over the icons for info, full screen and meny that is in the right upper corner.

I would like to have a way position the description at the bottom.

I have tried to fix this with css addition that makes the width smaller but that results in the description to overlay too much over the photo when viewing on a mobile phone.

Thank for providing us with this amazing software.

Screenshot-4 is how I would like it layedout. Caption centered in the bottom and the autoplay icon in the top position with the other navigation icons.

On mobile I find the font size too large, how could that be adjusted?

Same issue in mobile phone browsing.

You can:

1. In the config you can do css override for yourself.
2. Or you can try to fix for everyone and send PR.
3. alternatively write a small extension that injects this css override to the config if the extension is installed.

Was that last comment to me? If so I have really tried to fix this with css but cannot make it work. I have also got help from someone even more fluid on css but we cannot find a solution.

of course change is based on device and you probably want smaller font that 999px :)

Thank you for the suggestion but it has no effect at all. I cannot find controls-subtitle-text in the html on the lightbox page.

After some research and test I found this solution to position the image caption on the bottom of the page:

#controllers-container {
  display: flex;
}
.controls-caption.controls-nodim {
  bottom: 0;
  align-self: flex-end;
}

Works on pc, phone and tablet.

Also do you know that in the config, you can set what should be displayed on the top and the bottom?

I cant find these Titles. Where in the menu structure is it? I have "under the hood" selected.

you can search for the text itself. But they are under the gallery lightbox settings.
