The worker refactor broke damage number visibility because the damage:dealt events emitted by CombatSystem and ProjectileSystem were not being forwarded from the GameWorker to the main thread where DamageNumberSystem listens.

Changes:

  • Add DamageDealtEvent interface to worker types
  • Add damage:dealt to GameEvent union type
  • Add event listener in GameWorker.setupEventListeners() to forward events
