Error: Android failed to find current location on GrapheneOS #2470

Steps to reproduceRefresh current location or just wait for auto refresh of current location Expected behaviorCurrent location should load without any errors Actual behaviorGetting the error, "Android: Failed to find current location". Tried uninstall and reinstall. Magic Earth finds location fine. Weather source usedAccuWeather Breezy Weather versionLatest 5 and 6 versions tried Android versionGraphene OS with Android 16 QPR1 DevicePixel 9 Other detailsTwo phones. One is Pixel 7 and the other Pixel 9. Both have the latest GrapheneOS. The Pixel 7 has no issues at all with Breezy Weather. But the Pixel 9 is getting the error, "Android: Failed to find current location". Tried uninstall and reinstall. Magic Earth finds location fine. Any ideas what is causing this error? I figured it out! I noticed on my Pixel 7 that in settings>Location Services>Network location was set to on using GrapheneOS Proxy and the Pixel 8 was set to off instead of GrapheneOS Proxy. Location Services in general was enabled for the app but not the detailed Network location. Hope this helps anyone else who has Location issues. |
