Professional portfolio for Brian B. Morgan: About, Work (Development · Events · Design & Content), Thought Leadership, and Contact. Content-heavy by design, with no database — everything is files in the repo.
- Next.js 15 (App Router, plain JSX) + React 19
- File-based content: MDX files with frontmatter, read at build time (
gray-matter+next-mdx-remote). Every page is statically generated. - Design system:
design/is the source of truth — tokens, primitives, and guidelines. The site importsdesign/styles.css(single CSS entry) and the React primitives viacomponents/ds.js. - Icons:
lucide-react(the system's icon set). GitHub/LinkedIn marks live incomponents/brand-icons.jsxsince Lucide 1.0 dropped brand icons.
