This is an "all fixes" release:

  • Fixed low/no mic audio on startup in non-CW mode
  • Properly store frequency offset value from tech mode menu item 82
  • Start tech mode in PTT handkey so CW can transmit while tuning the frequency offset
  • Resolve lingering tone transmission between and after CW elements
  • Swap the TRS pins for correct dit/dah assignment by default

Thanks @rysiekuk for issue reports and code fixes!

This is a first test of the GitHub action to build and publish versioned artifacts. I'll just keep re-publishing this release until I get it right, sorry for the noise.

  • Pop reduction on CW/SSB TX

beta2

This release merges all of the CW features and fixes in the k5-v1 repo through the v1.0.1 release. I don't have the full GitHub actions working yet, so this is a manual binary post, but the repo code tag is matched.\

Note: The v3/k1 hardware will not be able to support the CEC cable. The microcontroller does not have the same analog features on the pins that made CEC possible. Button keying (PTT + Side1) is available, or follow the rework instructions to make the 3.5mm port compatible with a standard paddle cable connection.
