How to upgrade to the latest Version of Big Royal Mail

IMPORTANT: Version 4.0.0 is an encapsulated plugin. The install will attempt to remove all the old non-encapsulated plugin files. If it cannot do it you will receive an error message letting you know what files it could not delete. The install will not complete until all the old files have been removed.

All versions prior to 4.0.0

1. Copy the files from BigRoyalMail_V4.0.0/zc_plugins/* onto your server into:

   • YOUR_SHOPPING_CART_DIRECTORY/zc_plugins

2. Install the plugin

   1. Login to your admin.
   2. Navigate to Modules::Plugin Manager
   3. Find Big Royal Mail in the list of plugins and click on it
   4. Click Install
   5. Confirm you want to proceed by clicking install on the new screen.
      (If the install will attempt to delete all the old files from the non-encapsulated version. If it does not have permissions or is unable to delete a file or remove a directory an error message will be displayed with a list of the files/directories that need to be deleted. Please delete the files/directories listed then retry the install.)

3. Set up the modules you want

   1. Login to your Zen Cart admin.
   2. Go to Admin > Modules > Shipping
   3. Select the modules you want to install by clicking on it then clicking install.
   4. Modify any of the settings, then click Update.
   5. Repeat steps 3) and 4) for all the modules you wish to install.
