I have fixed this issue @natekettles . unfortunately users on versions < 0.0.30 have auto-update paths broken. I'm very sorry for this mistake.

Summary:

I didn't set an isQuitting = true flag, causing the app to fire a default and hide the window instead.

this means that updates never happened because the main process of the app needs to be dead so that Squirrel can replace the .app file, and relaunch with new updates.
