[Feature Request] Add Ublock Origin as an installable extension

Unfortunately, according to Google's definition, it is impossible to install Ublock Origin through the Chrome store. However, the repository mentions that there are ways to install it.

I was wondering if it is possible to install it or allow installation through some additional option.

This is probably not a BrowserOS issue, and more of a Chrome issue. As BrowserOS is built on Chrome, I don't think there's anything they can do, but I'll wait for the developers to respond.

In the meanwhile, have you tried this?

To install uBlock Origin in Chrome, follow these steps:

    Go to the official uBlock Origin GitHub releases page at https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases.

Under the most recent release, locate the "Assets" section and download the file ending with "chromium.zip".

Once downloaded, extract the contents of the zip file to a folder on your computer.

Open Google Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.

Enable Developer Mode by toggling the switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Click the "Load unpacked" button located in the top-left corner of the page.

Select the folder you created in step 3 and click "Open" or "Select Folder".

The uBlock Origin extension will now be installed and available in Chrome.

Note that since Chrome is phasing out Manifest V2 extensions, this method is a temporary solution. The extension may show a Manifest V2 error but will still function.
You will need to keep Developer Mode enabled for the extension to work. For a more permanent solution, consider using uBlock Origin Lite (uBOL), a Manifest V3-compatible version that offers similar ad-blocking functionality with fewer permissions.

Thanks for the steps and raising this! Yeah integrating uBlock and AdBlocker is on my TODO list. Will try to get this within a week or two.
