BrowserOS silently overwrites chromium installation

So I had chromium installed already.
I installed BrowserOS, it just basically uninstalled chromium (or should I say overwrote chromium installation). Maybe browserOS is using the same defaults as chromium so it just takes over.
I think it should either show this as a warning before installation or atleast let you select different installation and data folder.

This is seriously bad considering many people might be using chromium as their main browser, and they would be shocked on why chromium doesn't show up in their apps after that.

Oh sorry about that. Agreed, it shouldn't happen. Will look at what we are sharing with chromium and ideally we should be sharing non of the paths. Will fix that.

For me it's not overwriting chromium, it simply stops Browser-OS from being able to install.

You cannot install or run Browser-OS if you have chromium or ungoogled-chromium installed.

I'm not removing chromium or ungoogled chromium just to get this working. Please look into this. @shadowfax92

Still crashes for me on v0.16.0 and it has the chromium logo.
Have you made sure it also isn't conflicting with ungoogled chromium?

@shadowfax92 This is still an issue, it appears as "ungoogled chromium" when I pin browser OS to the taskbar on linux....
