This is not a production worthy add-on. To be honest, the full vision for the add-on hasn't really been fleshed out yet.
As mentioned above the full vision for the product hasn't been worked out. The general purpose is to display selected pieces of the template based on various variables and parameters. The intial goal is to modify the layout of the site for specific users. Users are identified by going to the site using a special query string, which identifes them and show the respective layout.
