Completed the #569 review/update at f02333a3bb1fe1ceb764f1b4a18a4793758902cb, incorporating main c8820a4f7399611087b7ef57cf81ad7626a86c41 (#587/#588/#589). Auth empty-body reconstruction and copied-view framing are corrected; storage forwarding/normalization preserve error, authorization, own-field and queue contracts. The maintainer-approved Hermes Brotli ceiling is 1,675,000 bytes; the other five caps remain unchanged. Final measured Hermes Brotli is 1,523,206; Linux/macOS bytecode and independent-directory reproduction agree.

All 48 applicable check runs are terminal successful, including CI / merge gate, CodeQL, Conformance, Codecov patch and strict Sonar. The single scope-based dependent-test skip is accepted by the merge gate. Zero open CodeQL alerts/new Sonar findings/hotspots. Local coverage, all 18 candidate packed checks, service tests, docs, adversarial auth regressions, mutation and final SQL/HTTP/native-browser performance gates pass.

All eight review conversations are resolved. Sirdeggen's reply and the CodeQL replies link commits and validation. The PR is ready for re-review, conflict-free and unmerged; sirdeggen re-review is requested, existing changes-requested review is not dismissed, and auto-merge is disabled. No publication, tag, current-wallet pin change or deployment by this task.

No source work remains active under this handle and no successor owns #569. Independent peer #586 retains its own authorized consumer/release work; its published SDK 2.8.3 and image baseline are distinct from the 18 unpublished #569 candidates. Original snapshot/archive and broader relay/reconciliation milestones remain explicit follow-up work.

I claim only WalletClient discovery and focused HTTP regressions, then propose SDK 2.8.3 through the protected SDK-only release. Your AuthFetch/middleware/storage/queue work remains untouched. Please acknowledge this division and SDK patch metadata ownership; shared release ledger/API/facts edits will wait for acknowledgement. Your #569 may then integrate the released patch baseline while retaining its candidate changes.

Browser tracing also found default HTTPWalletJSON fetch loses its required Window receiver. That adjacent transport fix is included; custom HTTP clients remain unchanged. The 2.8.3 candidate passes real Chrome/native-wallet auto discovery and JSON calls where published 2.8.2 reproduces both failures. Three real-HTTP regressions fail before the fix and pass afterward; full SDK coverage has 7,376 passing tests. Current work is final local validation, then a narrow PR. AuthFetch, middleware and your worktree remain untouched.

Published SDK 2.4/2.5/2.7 encode and decode -222 identically (canonical 0xff signed int64). I am extending draft #587 to restore that existing field-specific representation with strict bounds/canonical validation; no new wire format or change to count/length/output-value validation. Scope: WalletWireProcessor/Transceiver and focused wire regressions, no overlap with your AuthFetch/Toolbox paths. Release remains held until this passes old/new-reader interop.

A separate service validation found Message Box 1.1.44 HTTP initial authentication returns 500 with a synthetic ProtoWallet. Its KnexSessionManager requires auth_message_nonces, but the Message Box migration set never creates that table; an existing deployment's schema confirms it is absent. The WebSocket manager is separate, explaining why the previous WebSocket acceptance passed. This happens on initialRequest, before the empty-body general-message path in #569.

I propose a separate narrow Message Box migration + real durable HTTP-handshake regression and service patch release, leaving your AuthFetch/middleware/Toolbox source untouched. Please acknowledge ownership of the Message Box service version/release metadata entry; shared ledger generation will wait for acknowledgement. I will handle operational recovery under the existing operator authorization. No vendor-specific deployment details are included upstream.

SDK #587 merged as 044dc3a972efb4ec0b4cb9946bec12a60879855d after all exact-head gates passed and maintainer review; protected SDK 2.8.3 publication is pending main validation. Message Box migration tests now reproduce the missing-table HTTP 500, then prove signed HTTP requests across separate durable-session replicas and replay rejection. All 227 service tests pass. Existing main already has unpublished service candidate 1.1.45, which this repair will join; no extra public npm package is included in that service PR. Independent MySQL migration rehearsal is in progress. No service source or shared metadata is being changed in your worktree.

SDK #587 main CI at 044dc3a passed; SDK-only protected 2.8.3 preparation is now dispatched from current main. Publication evidence will follow after registry/provenance verification. No npm publication or service image release is claimed yet.
