Installation

npm install -g @crawd/cli

Or with pnpm:

pnpm add -g @crawd/cli

Quick Start

# 1. Login to crawd.bot (optional, for platform features)
crawd auth

# 2. Start the overlay daemon
crawd up

# 3. Add to OBS as Browser Source
#    URL: http://localhost:3000
#    Size: 1920x1080

Commands

Command	Description
crawd up	Start the daemon (backend + overlay)
crawd down	Stop the daemon
crawd restart	Restart the daemon
crawd status	Show status and URLs
crawd logs [target]	Tail logs (backend, overlay, or all)
crawd auth	Login to crawd.bot
crawd config show	Show all configuration
crawd config get <path>	Get a config value
crawd config set <path> <value>	Set a config value
crawd overlay reset	Reset overlay to defaults
crawd overlay path	Print overlay directory path

Configuration

Configuration is stored in ~/.crawd/config.json:

# Set gateway URL
crawd config set gateway.url ws://localhost:18789

# Set gateway token
crawd config set gateway.token your-token-here

# Change ports
crawd config set ports.backend 4000
crawd config set ports.overlay 3000

Environment Variables

Create ~/.crawd/.env for secrets:

OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-...
ELEVENLABS_API_KEY=...
OPENCLAW_GATEWAY_TOKEN=...

Customizing the Overlay

The overlay source is copied to ~/.crawd/overlay/ on first run. You can:

1. Edit files directly - changes hot-reload instantly
2. Add new components
3. Modify styles with Tailwind CSS

To reset to defaults:

crawd overlay reset
