soundMatik v0.1.0 (macOS · Apple Silicon)

soundMatik — download audio from any video link (Premiere Pro 2026+) · macOS version

REQUIREMENT: Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) Mac. Intel Macs are not supported.

Install

1. Download and unzip soundMatik-mac.zip.
2. Double-click Install soundMatik.app — the first launch can take 10–20 seconds while macOS verifies it; that's normal.
3. Approve the plugin install in the Creative Cloud window that opens.
4. Restart Premiere Pro ▸ Window ▸ Extensions (UXP) ▸ soundMatik.

Everything is signed and notarized by Apple — no security warnings at any step.

soundMatik v0.1.0 (Windows)

soundMatik — paste a video URL into a Premiere Pro panel, get the audio as WAV/MP3 in a SOUND_EFFECTS bin, ready to drag onto your timeline.

Requires Adobe Premiere Pro 2026 (v26.0+).

Windows install

1. Download soundMatik-windows.zip and unzip it
2. Run INSTALL.bat
3. Restart Premiere Pro completely
4. Open Window → UXP Plugins → soundMatik

Notes: binaries are unsigned — if SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway; if your antivirus flags yt-dlp.exe, allow it (known false-positive). UNINSTALL.bat removes everything.

macOS

Signed + notarized build: see the v0.1.0-macos release.

Updating

The panel has a Check for updates link in its footer — it points back to this releases page. Install a new version by running INSTALL.bat from the new zip; it replaces the old one cleanly.
