In the player:

  • During the gameplay, the player's life is illuminated with its two antennas, as the player receives damage, these lights flash until they are extinguished to indicate that this life has been lost. In this way, the player has three lives before finally dying and having to restart the game.
  • In addition, the player performs an animation and dyes red with an alpha to indicate this damage.
  • When the dimensional change ability is activated, the texture of the player changes to that of the outside world and a blue aura of electricity is created around it.

In the interface:

  • When the dimensional change ability has been loaded, a green flash is seen around the charge to indicate that it can be reused.
  • When the darkness is at a certain distance from the player, the edges of the screen darken and blink to give an effect of danger to the player.
  • Upon obtaining the piece from the portal, the piece appears in the interface with a small flash of light.

In the gameplay:

  • The portal piece gives off an aura of light until it is picked up by the player.
  • When the player crosses the checkpoint, the light of this one lights up to indicate that it has been activated.

Sound Design

In the menu screens:

  • On the main screen a tension-epic music plays.
  • The same ambient music is heard during all the menus, when you move the mouse over the option buttons you hear a selection sound.
  • There is no music heard in the pause screen.
  • In the rewards screen there is a sound when counting the score and when the piece of the obtained portal is shown.

In the gameplay:

  • When darkness approaches the player or when it is in moments of microflow (puzzle solving) a more tense music sounds.
  • At the end of the gameplay appears the screen of the diary where there is a writing sound while the story is told, the sound of turning pages at the end of the explanation and quiet music.

On the player:
