Chart order

I was wondering if there was a more fine grained way of changing the order that charts are rendered in? I've looked at the solution for #740 and it's great, although in my case I need a bit more control. This solution only seems to cater for 'line' chart, however I have a chart which contains lines, bars, areas and scatter plots and ideally need a way of specifying the order of these.

Is there any other way of specifying this?

Currently it's not possible because the charts (lines, bars, etc) are included in each g element for each chart. I think we have to separate these to different g element, but it seems not easy. Then, please let me label this issue enhancement now.
