Version 1.2.7
v1.2.7 — Security filter bugfixes
Bugs fixed
Lowsec systems appearing in highsec/nullsec-only results
During SDE import, sec_class was assigned by rounding the raw security value (round($sec, 1)) before comparing against the 0.5 highsec threshold. EVE Online uses floor, not standard rounding — systems with a true security in the range 0.45–0.4999 were stored as highsec in the database despite EVE displaying them as 0.4 (lowsec). This caused systems such as Uchoshi to pass through highsec-only or nullsec-only SQL filters. Fixed by comparing the raw true security value directly against the exact game thresholds.
Security status display rounding
Security status was displayed using ceil instead of floor for positive values, causing some systems to show one step higher than EVE does (e.g. Hophib showing 0.2 instead of 0.1). Display now matches EVE exactly, with a floor to 1 decimal place and a minimum of 0.1 for any positive-security system.
Lowsec/Nullsec filters unchecked on initial page load
The shortcode PHP template rendered Lowsec and Nullsec checkboxes as checked, but the JS config still defaulted to highsec-only, immediately unchecking them on load. The default sec class in the JS config now matches the template.
⚠️ Action required after updating
Re-run the SDE import from the plugin admin panel so affected systems are reclassified with the corrected sec_class logic.
Version 1.2.6
What's Changed
- Constellation view — new view mode grouping systems by constellation; each card shows name, region, system/agent/L4 counts and expands to reveal full hub cards inside
- Table: Dotlan system links — system name is now a clickable Dotlan link with security-status colour
- Table: Jumps→LS badges — colour-coded distance badges with Dotlan route links, matching hub view
- Table: copy buttons — added to station name and system name columns
- Compact view — toggle in Advanced options to hide the mission type/level breakdown row on hub cards for a denser list
- Data freshness warning — banner shown on the frontend when SDE data is older than 90 days, linking to the admin import panel

Version 1.2.5
What's Changed
- Silent SSO refresh — standings no longer fail after 19 minutes; the plugin silently uses EVE's refresh token to obtain a new access token in the background
- Clear error guidance — if the refresh token has expired (~90 days of inactivity), the filter shows a prompt directing the user to click [Change Character] to re-auth

Version 1.2.4
What's Changed
- Default filters — Lowsec and Nullsec are now selected by default alongside Highsec
- Security display fix — corrected security status values using EVE's ceiling convention for positive numbers (e.g. Hophib now correctly shows
0.1Lowsec instead of0.0Nullsec) - Table layout — switched to fixed proportional column widths so the table fits the page without horizontal overflow
- Table truncation — Agent, Corporation, Faction, and Station columns truncate with ellipsis when content is too long; hover any cell to see the full value
- Table cleanup — removed redundant Class column; tightened padding and font size
- Version modal — added GitHub repository link

Version 1.2.3
= 1.2.3 =
- Removed non-functional GDPR hook code from previous releases (rollback to 1.2.0); added a GDPR Compliance section to the EVE SSO Settings admin page with exact cookie details (name, category, duration, description) to paste into any cookie consent plugin's manual cookie entry form
Version 1.2.0
EVE Agent Finder 1.2.0
EVE SSO Authentication
Characters can now log in via EVE Online directly from the agent finder page. A LOG IN with EVE Online button appears in the toolbar to the right of the title when SSO is configured by the site administrator.
Once authenticated, the toolbar displays:
[Authenticated as Character Name] [Change Character] [Log out]
Logging out clears the session immediately without requiring a page refresh.
New filter: Available to my character only
A new toggle appears in Advanced options when a character is authenticated. When enabled, agents are hidden if your character's standing toward their corporation or faction is below the threshold required for that agent's level:
| Agent Level | Required Standing |
|---|---|
| L1 | No requirement |
| L2 | 1.0 |
| L3 | 3.0 |
| L4 | 5.0 |
| L5 | 7.0 |
Standings are fetched live from ESI and cached server-side for 30 minutes.
Standings-aware sharing
When the standings filter is active and the Share button is used, your standings data is embedded directly in the URL hash. Recipients see exactly the same filtered results without needing to log in themselves.
Admin: EVE SSO Settings
A new EVE SSO Settings section has been added to the admin panel, including:
- Step-by-step instructions for creating an EVE Online Developer Application
- Required scope:
esi-characters.read_standings.v1 - Callback URL display with one-click copy
- Secure Client ID and Secret Key storage — the secret is never echoed back to the browser after saving; leaving the field blank on subsequent saves preserves the existing value
Other changes
- Reset filters button now appears even when the active filters produce zero results, and correctly clears the standings filter toggle
- "How to use" modal updated to document EVE SSO login, the standings filter, standing thresholds, and the shared-URL behaviour
uninstall.phpupdated to remove all SSO data on plugin deletion:eaf_sso_client_id,eaf_sso_client_secretoptions, and alleaf_*transients (OAuth state tokens, character auth tokens, ESI access tokens, standings cache)
Version 1.1.0
What's new in 1.1.0
New filters
- Locator agents only toggle in Advanced options — filters to systems with at least one locator agent, with a live count hint showing how many match the current filters
- Min L4 agents stepper in Advanced options — hides systems that don't meet the minimum number of L4 agents, with its own per-system / per-station scope toggle aligned with the Min agents stepper
- Region filter dropdown added below Corporation
New sort option — Nearest to…
- Select Nearest to… from the Sort by dropdown and enter any system name
- Autocomplete suggestions appear after 2 characters
- Hubs are sorted by jump distance from the entered system
- Each hub card displays a clickable jump-count badge linking to a Dotlan route (e.g. 4 jumps from Jita)
Sharing & bookmarking
- Share button copies the current URL with all active filters encoded in a clean, readable hash (e.g.
#eaf?region=Everyshore&lv=4&mt=Security) - Filter state is saved to localStorage and restored automatically on your next visit
- URL hash takes priority over localStorage; Reset filters clears both
UI improvements
- Version info button opens a modal displaying the full changelog
- Collapse all button appears in the results bar when one or more hub cards are expanded
- Copy buttons moved to the left of agent names in hub view and table view
- Copy button added to the left of station names in hub view
- Locator tag now shown in the table view agent column
- Renamed sort option Closest to Lowsec → Nearest to Lowsec
- Renamed Hub options → Advanced options
Gold highlight bar improvements
- The gold left border now respects active level and mission type filters — it only appears when multiple agents matching the current filters share the same type and level
- Hovering the bar shows a specific description, e.g. This system has multiple L4 Distribution agents
Upgrade note
If updating from 1.0.1, re-run BFS in the admin settings after updating.
Version 1.0.1
1.0.1 — Bug Fix
What changed
includes/class-eaf-query.phpreadme.txt
Bug fix: sec class filter returning fewer results when more classes selected
When selecting Highsec + Lowsec + Nullsec, the plugin could return fewer hub results than selecting Highsec + Lowsec alone.
Root cause: the agent query had a hardcoded LIMIT 8000. The new SDE (npcCharacters.yaml) contains significantly more agents than the old format. With all three sec classes selected, the total agent count exceeded 8000 and the query was truncated. Because the query orders by lowsec_distance DESC, highsec systems deep in empire space are returned first — meaning some lowsec agents near the bottom of the sort order were displaced when nullsec agents were added to the pool.
Fix: the LIMIT clause has been removed from the query entirely. All grouping, filtering, and sorting is performed client-side in JavaScript, so there is no reason to cap the server-side result set.
