Take back control of how you use Instagram. Text your friends and stay connected without accidentally scrolling.
FeedLock is an Android accessibility service app that blocks the parts of Instagram designed to keep you scrolling — the feed, reels, and explore — while keeping the parts that actually matter fully intact.

Enable FeedLock's accessibility service once during setup and you're done. No accounts. No internet connection. No configuration. The moment Instagram opens, FeedLock is already working.

FeedLock is not on the Google Play Store. You'll need to sideload it.
- Download the latest APK from the Releases page
- On your Android device, enable Install from unknown sources in your settings
- Open the APK on your device and install it
- Open FeedLock and follow the one-step setup
- Android 8.0 or higher
- Instagram installed
Stories are not currently accessible through FeedLock. This is a known limitation.
My suggestion: Go on web view if you really do want to see people's stories.
FeedLock does not collect, store, or transmit any data. It has no internet access and never touches your Instagram content. The accessibility service is used solely to detect which screen is active within Instagram.
