looks good to me, merging this up to 5.x will give issues though, better make a different branch with a 5.x version that can be cleanly merged up to 5.next and 6.x. Or just cherry pick and yolo it |

we can't upwards merge in this repo anyway, so separate PR's are needed anyways. |
