I am not the original dev and I have no idea what he plans on doing with this project in the future, but I created a fork https://github.com/InfiniteAvenger/shelfmark to add a few features and change a few things that I wasn't satisfied with. One of my main additions was in integration with Hardcover to work in tandem with https://github.com/rohit-purandare/ShelfBridge which syncs your Audiobookshelf progress with Hardcover. My addition automatically adds things you add to your "Want to read" in Hardcover and it will automatically download it in Shelfmark, with support for multiple users, in an attempt to make something relatively streamlined such as Plex with the ARR stack. |

Hi ! I am the original Dev, and for a while, @alexhb1 was the maintainer, and did a phenomenal job, but then had to step down. |
Uh oh!

Hey @alexhb1
Saw the note in #1000 3 weeks ago about the project being in a stable state but not actively maintained. I was wondering what that looks like going forward. Are bug fixes still on the table, or is it more of a full wind-down? Is there an active fork or an active alternative?
I have an open PR and wanted to check if it's still worth pursuing or if I should just maintain it as a local patch.
Thank you!
