Left and Right text are hidden when using placeholder in textInput

Hi, I have an issue using placeholder and Left or Right together in textInput

before focus, it doesn't show the left string

if want "$" to be in every state of textinput

Couldn't find version numbers for the following packages in the issue:

• react-native
• react-native-paper
• react-native-vector-icons

Can you update the issue to include version numbers for those packages? The version numbers must match the format 1.2.3.

It's correct behavior according to the docs. In inactive state, when the input is empty, the prefix shouldn't be visible:

Would it be possible to add a prop that disables the auto-hide? Default the value to true, but having the option to always display elements would be appreciated.
