[FR]: Create new tasks in kanban columns

Adding new tasks directly below each column in the Kanban view—I believe this feature is a high-frequency use case for many people.

I’d also find this valuable. My use case is a project-grouped TaskNotes Kanban board where each column is a project or workstream, and I want to add a new task directly from that column so the task inherits the grouped project/property automatically. Right now the workaround is external buttons above the board or manually setting the project in the creation modal, but native per-column add controls would make the board much more useful as a daily execution dashboard.

Thank you for reporting this. This should be resolved in release 4.8.0, so I am going to close this issue now.
