I'd like to contribute a fix for API-key based Codex Responses gateways.
The change adds support for custom Codex-compatible gateways that authenticate with bearer API keys while preserving Codex-style session/cache behavior, including x-codex-turn-state and x-models-etag replay. It also supports overriding the bundled openai-codex provider with a custom apiKey and baseUrl without forcing OAuth account-id parsing.
My PR was auto-closed by the vouch gate. Could a maintainer please vouch me so I can reopen or resubmit the PR?
