Backend developer focused on building tools that stay out of your way. I spend most of my time in Go, occasionally venturing into shell scripts of questionable quality.
- Go — primary language, CLIs and backend services
- Shell — automation, glue code, things I'll regret later
- Python — when I need to prototype something fast
- Linux/Docker — daily drivers
Mostly CLI tools and DevOps-adjacent stuff — pipeline automation, internal tooling, that sort of thing. If it can be scripted, it probably should be.
Currently tinkering with some lightweight task runner ideas and trying to get better at writing Go that future-me won't hate.
If you're working on something in the CLI/automation space and want to swap ideas, feel free to open an issue or reach out.
