Sorry for the slow reply, @kevz657. The honest answer in today's system:

There is ONE canonical cv.md per workspace: it's the source of truth every mode reads, and /pdf doesn't take a file pointer (generate-pdf.mjs reads cv.md from the workspace root, full stop). Per-offer tailored versions are what the modes generate from it, so most 'multiple versions' needs are already covered by tailoring.

If you mean genuinely different base profiles (say, a data-science CV and a management CV), the supported shape is separate workspaces via the CAREER_OPS_ROOT environment variable: one directory per profile, each with its own cv.md and config. If a --cv flag on /pdf would still earn its keep for you after that, open an issue with your concrete case: it's a small, reviewable change.
