About me

PhD in Economic Development from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with research interests in applied statistics, econometrics, spatial analysis, data science and public policy. My work focuses on quantitative methods, spatial econometrics, labor economics and the analysis of large socioeconomic datasets to investigate regional inequalities and development dynamics.

Spatial Econometrics, Regional Analysis and Socioeconomic Indicators

Development of quantitative and spatial analyses applied to labor markets, regional inequalities and economic development in Brazil using large socioeconomic databases.

Experience in constructing municipal and Minimum Comparable Areas (AMC)-level indicators using Brazilian Population Census microdata from 1970, 1980, 1991, 2000 and 2010, as well as PNAD Contínua data in R and Python.

Applications include female labor force participation, macroeconomic analysis, regional development, spatial interaction effects and municipal socioeconomic indicators, including IPS Amazônia data through DataZoom Amazônia.

Main methods: spatial econometrics, Spatial Durbin Model (SDM), Moran’s I, ESDA/AEDE, panel data models, fixed and random effects, GWR/MGWR, cluster analysis, factor analysis and multivariate statistics.

Tools and software: R, Python, Stata, QGIS, GeoDa, Pandas, GeoPandas, scikit-learn and Jupyter Notebook.
