v1.0.0 – Initial Stable Release

Overview

Orchard is an open source application designed for bitcoin nodes. This v1.0.0 release marks the first stable, production-ready version. This release focuses on Cashu mint management.

Features

  • Home: Node overview showing bitcoin, lightning, taproot assets, and mint states
  • Local AI: Integrate ollama to control Orchard with natural language
  • Settings: Change application wide settings like locale, timezone, theme, and ai model
  • Mint Application: Fully featured mint management GUI
    • Dashboard: Balance sheet, Connection details, and High level analytics
    • Info: Manage public mint information like name, description, and motd
    • Config: Manage mint configuration settings like mint / melt status, and mint / melt limits
    • Keysets: See all mint keysets and facilitate keyset rotations
    • Database: Review whats in your mint and manage database backups

Known Issues

  • Nutshell mints will not have access to the config page for this release.
  • Nutshell mints have a persistence limitation with mint info. Changes will be reset when nutshell is restarted.
  • CDK mints do not show fees earned from transactions
