Train
###Definition A train is a group of carts close enough one to each other to be considered as a whole for ByteCart devices. The first cart of a train must hold the destination address of the train, with 32 added to station number. The other carts will go to same destination.
Note : there is no physical link between carts in a train like in plugin TrainCarts. Carts are not tight. A ByteCart train is just a stream of carts with a special mark in the heading cart.
###Building a train The best way to build a train is to build a chained line of BC7001 start/stop sign, and to place the carts on it.
The destination address must be contained in the first cart, with 32 added to the station number.
For example, for a train going to station 1.10.14, you must put the address 1.10.46 (46 = 14 + 32) in the first cart.
###Train features ByteCart signs have full compatibility with trains:
-
BC7010 and BC7011 update only the address of the first cart, leaving other unchanged.
-
BC8010, BC8011 and the BC90XX serie are compatible with trains.
