Still exploring ideas at the minute, currently experimenting with a select/dropdown approach.

Some pain points I've found so far:

  • Tiny layout shift when selecting the dropdowns.
  • Default behaviour is a bit miserable on mobile, needs a bunch of CSS to hopefully make the experience smoother.
  • Doesn't immediately feel fluid to me but again, can probably be fixed with lots of CSS.

TODO:

  • Support filtering by platform
  • Support filtering by category

Going to aim for this type of design now:

The layout can be shifted to whatever but I'd like the port grid to give up some space for the search/filters
