github copilot on aider?

Is there a way to use github copilot models on aider? I know most agentic editors allow this. (Roo,Cline,Zed, some other cli agent editors)

Yup, it is possible, especially with the updated litellm version in this repo.You need to follow guidance here:

https://aider.chat/docs/config/adv-model-settings.html

To set up the relevant settings file and yml entries like:

I am not sure if the other extra headers matter or not to be honest, but it's what I saw in the one comment I found in the issues with this problem and it works for me like this

Alright, this should actually be resolved, you should just be able to add the model as "github_copilot/{model specifier}" in the settings now without any other pomp and circumstance since the minimum version of litellm used in the project should take care of authentication, token refreshes, etc.
