Borked escape sequences for color/formatting

Issue

I guess somewhere the escape sequence bytes are getting utf-8 encoded when they are meant to be sent in raw.

Terminal is wezterm but I don't think that's the issue as everything else and OG aider works.

My .aider.conf.yml:

It seems that the issue is related to stream being false. I turned on streaming and colors were shown just fine.

Thank you, this is very helpful information. I will look more into this when I get off of work but I did spend a decent amount of time updating the stream output system to buffer and do the line by line printing it does now. If streaming is false, I need to look into the code path that follows and switch it over to the buffered output system. I'll let you know when I push a fix
