Issue
Hiya! sorry got another one!
There are two separate issues here:
firstly the the markdown is messing up the search replace blocks (?? loosing a CR as the root cause?)
secondly, aider usually highlighted the commits (black on white? this made it easy count them so could run a git diff or count back for /undo.

Aider v0.88.2.deves+parse
Main model: gemini/gemini-2.5-pro with diff edit format
Weak model: gemini/gemini-2.5-flash-lite
Git repo: .git with 115 files
Repo-map: using 4096 tokens, auto refresh
Multiline mode: Enabled. Enter inserts newline, Alt-Enter submits text
