"CAN POST" Shareable Link shows view only NodeBB Grain

When Getting a shareable link using "+Share access" in sandstorm it states "Anyone with this link:" "can view" or "can post". But both only let you view the NodeBB grain. I (perhaps naively) expect the "can post" to allow anonymous posting. I will be happy to provide more details or even work on a patch for the code if someone can point me to the right sources.
