Not poorly explained at all, and thanks for the kind words! It's a great idea. The guide already does this on one channel: VHS VAULT holds R and NC-17 titles back until 9 PM. Making it an optional setting for every channel would work on Roku too, since the Roku app uses the same schedule rules. Two things I'd want to get right first: channels that are mostly adult titles would be pretty empty during the day, and UK ratings like 15 and 18 need to count alongside the US ones. Adding it to the list. |

That GB- tip was really helpful, thanks! It turned up a real bug. Nostalgex only knows US rating labels right now, so a film marked GB-U or GB-PG doesn't count as kid friendly and the kids channels skip it. And GB-18 doesn't count as adult, so the VHS VAULT 9 PM rule won't hold those back. I'm fixing that first, on Roku, Apple TV and the web tuner, so UK ratings and other countries' ratings count the same as US ones. Your TV-12A one is going in the test list too. The full watershed and the "broadcasts will resume" card are on the list with it. Love the card idea, it fits the retro vibe. It's a bigger change to how each day gets built though, so the ratings fix goes first. Two quick things that would help:
I'll post here when it's in the Roku beta so you can check those channels fill in. |

Hello,
First of this is absolutely amazing, for myself it solves the issue of "choice paralysis" and looking for something longer than I'm watching.
I'm not sure how feasible an optional
That's shows/films with for example 18 certificate in the metadata for the media aren't scheduled during day time hours like a watershed we would have found on broadcast television.
I'm using the roku port not sure if that matters.
My apologies If I've explained this poorly
