  • Real-time Model Discovery: When you set up a new provider (like Gemini or others), Chalie now automatically fetches the latest list of available models instantly. You no longer have to rely on outdated or pre-set lists.
  • Automatic Setup: If you add a new provider and haven't selected one yet, Chalie will now automatically activate the new provider for you.
  • Improved Provider Management: Provider lists now update immediately after you successfully add or modify them.

Enhanced Voice Experience

  • More Natural Speaking: We've fine-tuned the text-to-speech engine to improve how Chalie speaks. Pauses are more natural, and the assistant handles complex phrasing (like abbreviations and numbers) much more smoothly.
  • Stable Voice Setup: The app is now more robust on fresh installations, properly handling missing voice components so you can get started quickly.
  • Updated Voice Quality: We’ve swapped out some of the default voice settings for improved clarity and tone.

Stability and Performance Fixes

  • Smoother Interface: Minor visual issues have been addressed, such as ensuring text remains visible on installation prompts, and making sure labels are correctly displayed across light and dark themes.
  • Reliable Background Tracking: Chalie is better at maintaining context even if it temporarily loses location data, ensuring your conversation doesn't drop unexpectedly.
  • Improved Voice Loading: The microphone and speaker icons now wait until the voice component is fully loaded, giving you a more predictable user interface.
