No output at all, but no error either

I've got Chalk in a pretty simple Node app and when I run it, nothing is output. I don't get an error and chalk.supportsColor reports true.

It's pretty literal. Here is a new file I just made:

var chalk = require('chalk');
console.log('wtf1 ',chalk.supportsColor);
chalk.red('hello');
console.log('wtf2');

I get:

wtf1 true
wtf2

and nothing in between.

Chalk itself isn't a logging statement, and doesn't touch process.stdout. It wraps text with ANSI codes that represent colors, which you can then log if you choose. This is what you should do:

console.log(chalk.red('hello'));

Wow. Absolutely. But why do most of the docs on the home page not show this?

For example, the very first demo:

chalk.blue('Hello world!');

would do absolutely nothing, right, since it isn't assigning the
result to a variable or logging it.

I think @sindresorhus did that for clarity's sake. Filling up a viewer's first introduction to chalk with console.log wrappers can make it seem a little complex at first glance, and a logging example appears in the next code block. I do see where you're coming from, though.

Don't know if Sindre's going to change that, it's up to him.
