Contents in detail


  • When game is started, Server randomly select a KING and CITIZEN from clients

  • All clients select their own position (both KING and CITIZEN)

  • The KING can see CITIZEN's position but CITIZEN cannot

  • Each turn, KING and CITIZEN can move 1 block (↑, ↓, ←, →)

  • The KING cannot pass the way that CITIZEN passed

  • When CITIZEN encounter each other, they are all died

  • The game is over when CITIZEN catch the KING or all CITIZEN died

  • When the game ends, the server shows the result and replay


Modification from first Proposal and meeting

Comments from professor and TA:

It will be better with more game elements.

Our solution:

Make an other character who can helps king and deceives citizen.

We add a new character : SPY

  • One of the User becomes a spy, So spy takes charge of deceiving citizen for king.
  • SPY wins if KING wins, SPY loses if CITIZENS win.
  • SPY can deceive citizen by telling false location in chatting.
  • Every client can know who is the spy in the end of the game.

Result of Modification

  • King can got a support from Spy
  • Give a more fun to citizen in game
  • Utilize Chatting program properly
