OpenEvalGate 0.1.0 — Stable Core

0.1.0 establishes Core Compatibility v1 for the local deterministic release
assurance core. It does not publish a package to PyPI.

Stable in this release

• documented CLI commands, options, and exit behavior;
• V1 JSON envelopes and stable assessment, recommendation, hard-blocker, and
  provenance-finding semantics;
• Python 3.10 through 3.14;
• strict V1 evidence envelopes and CSV schema-version columns; and
• local evidence validation, provenance subset checks, and deterministic
  reports.

normative boundary.

Deferred work

• complete provenance authorization and enriched workflow or handoff claims;
• vendor SDK adapters, hosted services, and runtime integrations;
• stability for templates, scorecards, rubrics, and playbooks;
• external adoption evidence and full product-scope 1.0.0 stability; and
• PyPI publication.

External runners remain evidence producers, not dependencies. The included
LangChain-shaped handoff is a file-format example only.

Release handoff

After the selected release commit passes tag CI, build the wheel and source
distribution from that exact tag, verify a clean installation and canonical
report reproduction, generate SHA256SUMS, and attach the wheel, sdist, and
checksums to a manually created GitHub Release. Do not publish to PyPI.
