Line Chart - Tooltip square color

The tooltip square (see second image) takes colors from pointHoverBorderColor and pointHoverBackgroundColor. However, if I want to highlight the body of the point on hover white, then the square is white. If I have multiple datasets, all the squares are white in the tooltip.

Is it possible to change it to take into consideration pointBackgroundColor and pointBorderColor instead of the Hover equivalents, or remove the colored square entirely?

I can't seem to find either option.
