I think it would be helpful if there was an option to hide the huge calendar box & just show the first text box with the preview.

• On Desktop, this box prevents from using the "Tab", I can't directly move to next field or "Submit" button
• On Phone, this takes up a huge chunk of the screen

Not sure, if there is any workaround on this for now? I tried to search but only suggestion I could get is to use a simple VALUE instead of VDATE but it looses the calendar mechanism & dates are not recognizable in bases.

Maybe, this could be added as an addition flag in the prompt, something like {{DATE:YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss|minimal}}

Hey, thanks for the screenshots, they made both problems easy to see. Both are fixed for the next release.

Tab getting stuck was a bug. The calendar is 46 buttons, and Tab went through every one of them before it reached the next field. Now Tab skips the calendar and goes straight to the next field, or to Submit (#2174).

The calendar taking up space: I didn't go with a |minimal flag. Whether you want the calendar is your preference, not something about the template, and a flag would mean editing every VDATE token you have. Instead, date fields now have a calendar button at the end of the text box. Click or tap it to hide the calendar, and QuickAdd remembers that, so every date prompt after it opens without the calendar. Tap it again if you ever want the calendar back for a day (#2176).

On a phone, hiding it lets the whole form fit above the keyboard, so Submit isn't squeezed in behind it anymore.

Your VDATE tokens stay as they are and keep writing real dates, so Bases still picks them up :)
