[FEATURE REQUEST] Allow to exclude some folders from the {{FIELD}} checking

Kinda. I'm trying to create some automated templates where I'm using two types of autofill for a frontmatter field.

I have some templates where I'm using quickadd
property: {{FIELD:property}}

but in a few cases I want to have more automation, and I'm using templater to update field
property <% tp.file.folder(false) %>

I would like to be able to exclude some folders from being checked by the FIELD syntax. Either this, or automatically exclude folder that is defined as templates.

Hey! This feature already exists in QuickAdd as of version that includes PR #826 (June 2025). You can exclude folders from {{FIELD}} checking using the following syntax:

{{FIELD:property|exclude-folder:templates}}

You can also exclude multiple folders:

{{FIELD:property|exclude-folder:templates|exclude-folder:archive}}

Additional exclusion options available:

• exclude-tag:tagname - Exclude files with specific tags
• exclude-file:filename - Exclude specific files

For your use case with Templater, you could exclude your templates folder like this:

{{FIELD:property|exclude-folder:Templates}}

This feature was recently added but the documentation hasn't been updated yet. I'll make sure the docs get updated to include these exclusion filters. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
