Sanitizer — reversible PII scrubbing for transcripts (built on the v1.5.5 plugin system)
#1548
I've been building against the plugin feature coming in v1.5.5 and wanted to share Sanitizer, a plugin that scrubs PII or other sensitive data before you paste it into an LLM, or otherwise share it to the cloud.
It swaps out names, emails, phone numbers, and any terms you declare for placeholders like {{PERSON-A}}, then restores the real values when you paste text back into the plugin — using a key that stays local to your machine.
There's also a local Named Entity Recognition model that suggests names, orgs, and other categories you didn't explicitly declare; it only removes found candidates with your approval. Everything runs offline, in keeping with the spirit of Buzz itself.
Install: grab the zip from Releases, then Help → Plugins → Add by URL, then restart Buzz (the plugin won't launch until restart).
